If you’re like me and have been on dating sites for years, you’ll know there are many ups and downs. And you probably have learned a lot about the process through your many experiences. I know I have! I’d like to pass on some of my tips to men who are looking to meet trans women online, whether that’s for casual hookups or something deeper, longer, and more meaningful.
How to Make the Most of Your TS Dating
Know What You Want
If you’re just floating around, unsure of the kind of woman or relationship you want, you’re probably not having much luck or success in meeting someone. Not to sound too hippy dippy, but visualizing what you want really does help you find it, and not just in relationships. Have a clear image of who you want to meet. If you do want to meet a trans woman specifically, join a dating site like TSmeet.com.
Go All In
What I mean by this is, put your heart on the line… and the effort required. Join one (maybe two or three) dating sites, and create a stellar profile—fully filled out and one that makes your personality shine. Carefully choose profile pictures that show different sides of you… and please smile. So many men look angry in their I’m-trying-to-show-my-serious-side pics.
Browse and Send Messages Regularly
When you spend more time on a dating site, the algorithms do their job of placing your profile in more trans women’s searches. And many ladies are apt to spontaneously message someone who is online when she is. Well-crafted first messages get the replies, so again, put the effort into reading profiles as a guide to sending something personal.
Be Patient, Positive, and Persistent
I call these the three virtues of online dating… and really a must to keeping your dating confidence where you want it to be. Women love confidence! Online dating isn’t the end all and be all, and you can also meet women offline, so don’t lose yourself—live your life, work on yourself, and stay upbeat through the process. And don’t give up after one or two bad dates.
