Aside from your actual profile on a TS dating site, the next most important thing is the first message you send to the trans woman you are interested in. While these methods won’t guarantee she’ll respond, they can definitely increase the number of responses you’ll get, and in turn the number of dates you’ll be able to enjoy.
The truth is, women and transexuals get many more messages per day than men do. This is because there is often being a larger percentage of men on sites, and women often sit back and let the men initiate first contact. While this may not be ideal, it’s the reality. A very attractive TS could be getting more than 10 messages a day and obviously can’t connect with all of them.
Make your message stand out from the pack by following my simple advice…
1. Read Her Entire Profile First
Women want to see that you are genuinely interested in them, beyond their sexy pictures. I can’t stress this enough – always read their entire profile before even considering sending a message. For one, you might find something in there that dissuades you from writing at all. Also, you’re going to need to gather some information in order to complete the next step.
2. Write a Custom Message
That’s right – no cutting and pasting! While it’s true that online dating can be a numbers game, simply pasting the same clever message for a hundred different women is not going to do the trick. This morning I got an elaborate message from a potential suitor, but there wasn’t one detail that told me he was writing to me specifically. My intuition told me that this was his go-to message that sends to everyone. What did I do? Deleted the message and moved on. Your first message should always reference something specific from her profile. Consider commenting on her musical taste, sense of humour, or anything that strikes a chord with you.
3. Find Some Common Ground
If the lovely lady loves bowling and so do you, this is the perfect time to tell her. Or if she’s reading a book by your favorite author, tell her how much you also admire the author’s work. If the site you’re on is on the sexy side, then it’s probably okay to say you also dig threesomes. The point here is to mention something that appeals to both of you. Bringing up a topic the woman is interested in will inspire her to reply and will get a conversation going.
4. Ask a Question
Sometimes I get a message that is sweet and funny, and I decide that I would like to write back. But if there’s nothing in particular in his profile that inspires me, I’ll have a difficult time knowing how to reply. However, coming up with a response is easy when that first message contains a question. Make it easy! Ask the object of your affection a specific question. It could be related to something from her profile that you’d like to know more about, or a simple inquiry about how their weekend is going.
5. Find a Balance Between Funny and Serious
This one can be a bit tricky. If a message is all jokes, I may be entertained but also have reservations about how serious this person is about dating me. On the other hand, a man who is overly serious and professing his intense desire to find love can scare a lady off. Try to strike a balance so that your message shows sincerity and a willingness to follow-though, tempered with a light-hearted vibe.
